ROLE PURPOSETo manage the UK Managing Director's (MD) office in an efficient, effective and professional manner, operating with minimum supervision and maximum proactivity.
To operate as an advocate and ambassador for the MD, business group and Microsoft, to all our customers both internal and external.
Responsible for liaison and scheduling of all meetings both internal and external including customer, press, third party companies and all other business meetings for the MD and from time to time other members of the Management Team, both within the UK and across other Microsoft subsidiaries. This role will involve dealing with people at the highest levels and must ensure the provision of all briefing papers, logistical details and supporting information to the MD in a timely manner.
To deal with incoming requests including mail, phone calls etc ensuring that the MD is engaged only with the essential items. Compile appropriate responses and dispatch/deal with all other mail and calls.
All travel arrangements to be identified and diarised for the MD and made well in advance with all visa requirements, currency, hotels, registration of events, connecting travel arrangements taken care of.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE1) Essential Experience
Experienced in dealing at an Executive level both internally and externally.
Intermediate level skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Able to work in confidence with confidential matters.
Ability to work under pressurised deadlines and maintain accuracy at all times.
Experienced in a variety of support roles.

Strong MS Office skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

4) Qualifications
Educated to A level or equivalent level qualifications and experience.
